AWS tape images of the SPLA tapes. These were 3480 tapes which Freddie had copied the files from the original reel tapes.

These are being made available here so that volunteers can download them and begin the work of extracting all the files most likely using Flex or Hercules emulation systems. The goal is to sort out all the material and make it more easily acessible for those interested parties not running an MVS system which can directly process AWS tape images.
